Gina's had a love of working with people since the age of 16 when she got her first job in the fitness industry. Over the past 17 years, she has accumulated extensive experience, initially starting as a group exercise instructor and personal trainer and over the years working with thousands of individuals. Her journey to this day also includes teaching fitness certifications, running retreats, coaching at her family business, Functional Fitness Australia, hosting her podcast "Body and Beyond" alongside best friend Alice and teaching and mentoring at the Canberra Institute of Technology. 

 

Her passion for the health and wellness industry motivated her to pursue higher education, leading to the attainment of a Bachelor's degree in Exercise and Coaching Science, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management.

 

Gina incorporates her love for health and wellness, coupled with years of practical experience, into her coaching programs. She adores supporting her clients to become their most vibrant, happy and fulfilled selves.

 

Gina has studied extensively in the field of coaching. Her studies include experience in Integral coaching, developmental coaching, meta-coaching, neuro-linguistic programming and breath-work. 

 

In her coaching sessions and programs, Gina empowers her clients to finally let go of what is holding them back so they can access and embody their full potential.

Gina has been my personal trainer at FUNC for over a year now, and I can't express how fortunate I am to have found her. Every week, I eagerly look forward to our sessions. What makes Gina truly exceptional is her ability to strike the perfect balance between being a friend and a dedicated trainer. We chat, we laugh, but when it comes to the workout, she knows how to push me to my limits to ensure I get the most out of every session.

One of the things I love most about PT with Gina’s is her teaching approach. She doesn't just guide me through exercises; she patiently teaches me proper techniques along the way. This not only helps me maximize the effectiveness of our sessions but also empowers me to confidently work out on my own. Her dedication to my progress is unwavering, and she genuinely cares about my fitness journey.

What sets Gina apart is her knowledge and understanding of the importance of working within my menstrual cycle. This has been a game-changer for my fitness, nervous system, and hormones. Her holistic approach to training has helped me sync my workouts with my body's natural rhythms. Thanks to Gina's expert guidance, her perfect balance of support and challenge, and her menstrual cycle-based approach, I've never felt stronger and fitter in my life!
